The Adoyen story started with Okhaifo; a lifelong entrepreneur and inventor with a Masters in Engineering and Business Administration from the most prestigious schools in the respective fields, he has built and grown numerous startups prior to Adoyen, and Salim; a foreign investments and economic development expert, with two Master’s degree in International Business, who received  an award for Global Business Leader of the Year. While discussing alternative sources of investments and the efficacy of the real estate industry, these two long time friends quickly identified the gaps in traditional real estate investing. These gaps are numerous: the expensive barrier of entry, the complicated process of owning and managing real estate, the lack of transparency, and the difficulties finding the right projects to participate in. They soon decided to leverage technology to build a more intuitive investment platform that would be available for everyone. This new marketplace demystifies the real estate investment sector, enables everyday folks to purchase shares in real estate projects at a reduced cost, facilitates communication and collaboration with other investors and real estate providers, and it provides better liquidity to investors. This is our “WHY” and this is how Adoyen was born.
